ON FINDING YOUR WAY

There are many roads up the mountain. Walk yours.

I've watched a dozen methods work in the same season, and a dozen people argue over which one was right. They were all right, and the argument missed the point. The edge was never the method. The edge is finding a process you actually understand, sticking to it long enough to trust it, and refining it as the market teaches you.

Borrow freely. Take Buffett's patience, O'Neil's leaders, Livermore's stillness. But in the end, the road has to be yours. A method you half-believe will betray you the first time it is tested. One you've made your own will carry you through.
